A Music Post
I've been currently listening to this Pandora station called 2013 Top Indie Radio for the last few months. I have to say, I really like it. Finding music has really come a long way. I remember in high school when I had to depend on Mtv to give me my music dosage, but I had to sit through Carson Daily bark through the TRL count down and watch multiple music videos of bands I didn't like. Aside from that, going to shows at crummy venues was the other route, and I loved it. I wish I went to more shows now, but life has changed and so has my schedule. Today, I'm thankful for sites like Pandora and Youtube.

Skin Care Products
I've only been into skin care for the last 4 years. Shame on me, BUT let's just say since jumping on board, and on board I mean the good-skin ship, I have taken it seriously. I've gotten peels, microdermbrasion, LED lights, the whole SHABANG. It all started when I began working at Nordstrom, and the makeup department was right next to mine. I started chatting ( stealing samples) with the ladies working at the counters, and got some really good skin care advice. Here is what I use and love.
Peter Thomas Roth glycolic face wash and toner
Trader Joes Antioxidant face lotion
Kiehls Avacodo eye cream
Korres Rose night cream face brightener
I really love all these products! PTR is a really great brand that I highly recommend. I use the glycol acid face wash because it's anti aging and really helps with cell turn over. Both the face wash and toner really help to make my skin look bright and reduce the signs of scars and hyper pigmentation.
The Kiehls eye cream was the first skin care item that I got introduced to and I love it! It's thick and hydrating and does its job at keeping my under eyes nice and smooth. I use the Trader Joes antioxidant face lotion because it's cheap and it's light, I only wish it had SPF in it. Come Fall I switch to a thicker face lotion. Last but not least we have the Korres night bright cream that I recently purchased a few weeks ago. This face lotion/mask smells like rose garden heaven and I saw results immediately! I swear by this product and will continue to purchase it.

Weekend Rundown
Oh boy, how I wish that the weekends would last longer! It felt like this week went by so slow and the weekend flew right by. There are a few places I like to go that are relaxing with a beautiful, mellow environment. One of them is Stonehaus tucked away in the little area of the west valley. It's a really cool winery and restaurant that offers gourmet coffee, gelato and of course the vino. The ambiance is really unique. It's very European with the stonewalls and spanish guitar player serenading outside. There are benches and tables surrounding a vineyard and they even offer blankets that you can snuggle up in. Can you say perfect date place?

I see London I see.. Oh my!
I was on my usual morning scroll through my email, when I spotted something on whowhatwear about the best looks from CFDA. I excitedly clicked on the article, and as I began looking through all the different celebrities my jaw dropped when I got Rihannas lady lumps looking right back at me. Although I am in no position to judge anyone, I don't favor looks that reveal too much, or in her case it ALL. I like women who dress in way that leaves a little mystery. This look gives the full story, ending, and sequel included.
Let's take a look back in fashion history at other celebrities who made the cut of this edition of
BARE NECESSITIES
When lil Kim showed up to the MTV Music Awards with a purple pasty.
Lady Gaga with her gagas at the Grammys
Rose McGowan at the VMAs, with her see through nightgown?
Last, but not least CHER in her video of "Turn back time". Although it's pretty astonishing how good her body looks, this outfit choice will go down in history as tasteless. Then again, it was the 80's.
I stand firm in saying this:
MODEST IS HOTTEST!

The IT top this Summer
The "it" top this Summer has no back. It lost it when it began reaching 104 degrees a few weeks ago. What I like about this look is that you can still get away with wearing a bra depending on how high the slight goes up, and depending on if you want everyone in your office to know what color bra you own..

Throwback Thursday
Last Fall I was honored to be in one of the most beautiful weddings for one of my oldest friends. This wedding had the most gorgeous, draw dropping views. It was up at Hammer Sky vineyards and everything about this place was magical down to the old house we stayed in, to the barnyard the reception was in, to the wild turkeys running through the vineyard. I miss this weekend just thinking about it! Here are some pictures to share with you.
I had to stop myself from posting more pictures but I think this place is magical!
